ICU E-Mail Help

Look under the instructions that match the E-Mail software that you are using.
Netscape v3.x

Go into Netscape (you do not want to connect on-line)
Go into the "Options" pop down menu
Choose the option "Mail and News Preferences"
Click on the "Server" tab and enter the following new settings:

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.icu.com
Incoming Mail (POP) Server: mail.tco.com
POP User ID: ____________%icu.com (enter your user name in the blank)

Now click on the "Identity" tab and enter the following new settings:

Reply to address: ______________@icu.com (enter your user name in the blank)

Restart your machine and you should be up and running.


Netscape Communicator


Go into Netscape (you do not want to connect on-line)
Go into the "Edit" pop down menu
Go into the "Preferences"
Double click on "Mail and Groups"
Click on "Mail Server" and enter the following new settings

Mail Server Name: __________________%icu.com (enter your user name in the blank)
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: mail.icu.com
Incoming Mail (POP) Server: mail.tco.com


Eudora (all versions)


Go into Eudora (you do not want to connect on-line)
Go into the "Special" pop down menu
Go into "Settings" or "Options"
Double Click on "Personal Info"
Pop Acct:_____________________%icu.com@mail.tco.com (Enter your user name in the blank)
Return Address:_________________@icu.com (Enter your user name in the blank)
Double click on "Hosts" and enter the following settings:

SMTP Server: mail.tco.com

POP3: ______________%icu.com@mail.tco.com (enter your user name in the blank)
Double Click on "Sending Mail"
Return Address:______________________@icu.com (Enter your user name in the blank)
SMTP Server: mail.tco.com


Microsoft Exchange / Windows Messaging / MS Outlook

Exchange setup:
Step 1: From the menu bar, under the "Tools" menu, select "Services..." to bring up the "Services" dialog box.
Step 2: If there is no 'Internet Mail' profile then create one.
Step 3: Highlight the 'Internet Mail' profile and hit the 'Properties' button to bring up the "Internet Mail" dialog box.
Step 4: On the "General" page, in the "E-mail address" field, enter user%icu.com (The forwarded, or aliased address maintained by your ISP). In the "Internet Mail server:" field, enter mail.tco.com
Step 5: In the "Account name:" field, enter your login name in the following fashion: user , and enter your password in the "Password:" field.
